Patient Safety Resources and Initiatives

Because our sister Shannon passed away due to an unexpected medical outcome, we have been advocates for patient safety programs and initiatives since 2004. Here are some resources for becoming an empowered patient. We donate a portion of our sales to organizations and individuals making a difference in patient safety.

Peace Officer & Firefighter Resources

Because we have grown up with our father as a police chief and our grandfather as a fire chief, Luna’s Light has been impacted by the safety forces community. In 2001, a law enforcement officer was killed in the line of duty every 39 hours. Below is a brief list of resources for the survivors of law enforcement officers. Please e-mail us additional resources to add to our list.
